We would like to take a moment to give thanks to the local artists who participated in this year's Joan Of Art show. We would also like to extend our warm thanks to those who submitted, and did not participate. Due to the volume of applicants, we do our best to choose new work from various talents, diverse styles and mixed facets each round. This year was no exception. With wide talents from all different spectrum's, and the partnership of 300/North Lamar apartments, this show was made possible, and wildly successful. We were able to raise around $600 for the ASPCA from donations and raffles, thanks to generous Austin businesses who graced us with gifts, and the cooperation and support from USAA, Spider House and Artseen Alliance. Nothing is more rewarding to us than to be able to give back to a community that's as beautiful as living in Austin itself. Rock on 2009! We look forward to seeing you all again in 2010 and making magic happen.
